What's more annoying than a friend or family member who is taking over our PSP beloved to search files in our memory card or launch applications potentially dangerous? This is to prevent this kind of delicate situations that many participants in the PSP Genesis Competition have crafted a variety of applications. While some homebrews such as The Lock Folder or PSHider that not content to hide files, frapsp98 decided to go further in securing our data.

Right-click on the file you downloaded;
Choose "Extract Files ..."( WinRAR is recommended);
Choose like destination the letter assigned to your PSP from your computer;
Press OK and wait extraction files;
Quit the "USB mode" on your PSP;
It is in the competition that the developer launches a plugin named PSProtectMySystem . This is not the time to protect only the files on the memory card, but is nice to prevent access to the entire system console via a password.
To facilitate the use of its utility, frapsp98 also made a homebrew . Wee can install, configure and uninstall PSProtectMySystem a simple and intuitive. Wee have a choice between an alphanumeric password or simple digital, the latter being obviously less secure due to the smaller number of possible combinations.
Once the plugin is installed, the password that wee defined previously will be asked each time you start the console, wee can not access the XMB so that it is correct. Therefore note that this application will be really profitable than among users of Customs Firmwares or HEN permanent, they do not need to be restarted upon reboot.
