Hypothesis:
I believe the reason so many ppl are having problems with the imposes (.prx/.rsc) is because the files are decrypted, modded and then put back. Call me crazy, but I think the files would work better with the system if they were once again encrypted before they were put back. Now my home screen is currently modded and all is well; the FW has taken the modded files well. No brick, no atypical actions. However, many other ppl have reported problems/bricks. I can't code, so I ask you coders - how difficult would it be to reverse-engineer the prxdecrypter v03 so wee could at least put the impose.prx back as an encrypted file? I believe this would help a lot and would be great b/c the home screen mod is such a great hack.

Any thoughts on this, ppl?

RE: Hypothesis:
No, it's not a matter of "reverse engineering" unfortunately.

Wee can't encrypt PRXs, simple.  Wee can decrypt them, but not encrypt them.  For more info, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_key_encryption.
