So, with anime in brackets. I just found out it was a VN today.
A very well known and highly rated one. But it'll like never get translated because it's over 4MB of text, which is way f ucking long. If you want a comparison, F/SN is around 3.85, Clannad is 3.16, both are known to be very long. Kanon is 1.26, Sharin is 1.53, C+C is 1.17, Saya is 0.31.
So just watch the anime instead (no, the anime isn't very long, 14 eps).

Encoded in UTF-32? :P
Lol. They all use SHIFT_JIS encoding right? Character set used can have a big impact on amount of text.

I already watched it. I remember ZB going on about how it was his favorite anime

Should be Shift-JIS, but since I didn't do the count, I can't really be sure of anything.
Here's the script sizes listed for a couple of hundred or so eroges... http://tlwiki.tsukuru.info/index.php?tit...criptsizes
KimiNozo is like the 3rd longest thing in the list.

Actually... Ixrec, that guy who translated Cross Channel and MLA and stuff, said he's eventually going to translate all the stuff he rated 8 or above in his list. But that's going to take forever, assuming he goes top down, because he only rated KimiNozo 8.5.
But I don't really want it all that much anyway, already seen the anime. MLA probably > KimiNozo anyway. MLA probably > everything.
Some guy started translating the Ore-Imo VN. F uck, stop translating crappy anime back-port s hit, go translate something that's actually known to be good (Parfait or something like that if you want something moe themed).

Well, at least there's a chance of it happening.

Yeah, I guess. But I don't particularly care too much about a KimiNozo translation (I've watched the anime anyway), I'll prefer it if he translated some of the other stuff on his list instead. Especially because Kiminozo is so long (4.05MB) that in the same amount if time he can get like 3 other things translated.
He currently just started translating Shikkoku no Sharnoth (1.24MB) I think, and next is Forrest (0.75MB).
Also, here's something new for PB to try.

oh you
Will he be able to resist this time?
Also, I'm going to get him to play Subarashiki Hibi (lit. Wonderful Everyday) when it gets translated. It's a wonderful game, really. Here, have a cute picture of Kagami and Tsukasa.
Quote:Yuki lives an eternally peaceful, everyday life with Tsukasa and Kagami; her childhood friends; when she meets a girl named Takashima Zakuro throwing stuffed toys off of a rooftop. Zakuro, a mysterious girl who tells Yuki a story about God and aerodynamics, all the while apologizing about involving her in a tragic story.
"And if you're not good directly," she added, "I'll put you through into Looking-glass House. How would you like that?"
"Now, if you'll only attend, Kitty, and not talk so much, I'll tell you all my ideas about Looking-glass House."
In a startling turn of events never before seen in eroge, all of a sudden both Zakuro and the Wakatsuki sisters are living in Yuki's apartment. Later on, Yuki meets another girl, Otonashi Ayana, on the rooftop of one of the school buildings. Ayana seems to speak in riddles and has the annoying tendency to imply that she knows a lot more about what's going on.
Before long Yuki has to make a decision that, like many of the decision points in Subarashiki Hibi, brings about an outcome that can only be understood much later in the narrative; to keep living a wonderful everyday with the Wakatsuki sisters or to follow Zakuro's unusual words and stories and take a trip down the rabbit hole to see where it all leads.
The inevitable decision is obvious.
This is where the story begins.
This game will probably make you cringe and rage a lot more than Saya. Yet in the end, PB's the only one who's going to dislike it. Actually, PB's guaranteed to not be able to get through to the end.
