Help with moving dock(?) icons
Ok, so i made some dock icons, am no sure if you call them like that lol
Anyways, here is my problem, i can't get them centered in the XMB:
As you see, it cuts out the Settings option.
Now, i 'moved' the XMB X position to 130 to see if that fixed the problem
But i realized that only takes effect when you exit sub-menus
And still, it cuts out the icons.
So my question is, how can i get them centered and not to cut any icons out?

If it is only when you come out of a menu , its your x position of the network icon ????.
If i remember correctly its storred in PAF , try to find it in the editor.
im not sure what i talk , im still sleeping ...

RE: Help with moving dock(?) icons
(28/03/2011 11:09 PM)MysterySword Wrote: Set the X Position of the XMB to 0 (for the whole XMB). That should fix it (I believe that's in vshmain). Also, anything that's X Position of XMB should be 0 (like X Position of XMB in Video/Photo/Game, etc).
Basically, if you don't want anything to move when going into submenus, everything should have the same X XMB Position.
THIS!
oww boy im so oxidated already.

RE: Help with moving dock(?) icons
Ok, that didn't work.
I'll try to explain myself more.
This is the XMB am making before going into any sub-menu:
And this is when exiting sub-menu:
Get it?
I want to have like the 2nd pic before i enter sub-menu's.

RE: Help with moving dock(?) icons
The x position in topmenu should be the same as in vshmain..
From looking at your screenshots you still have it set to -130,.. change it to 0.

RE: Help with moving dock(?) icons
Ok, thanks Dmise.
Would anything be changed or mess up if i decided to move the icons to the top of the XMB?

RE: Help with moving dock(?) icons
Nothing should go wrong,.. Just keep in mind that when moving the icons along the y axis only change the position in vshmain and not in topmenu like you would when moving along the x axis.
Also only the main icons will move when moving up or down, the sub icons stay in the center..
