RE: Heartless and the rest are you OK?
Life is pretty normal around here. No panic people or anything.
And I'm against the idea of go under the table myself. But the bad point about running outside is if everyone run outside at the same time, plus the earthquake and stuffs, floor might coslappe plus traffic jams. Means if it's only you then it's fine, but if it's your whole class then there will be more injuries.
As for debris, you can actually survive those as at least one of the wall will stay intact. Creating some gap between.
All swell guys, no worries :D

I must be a thrilling experience to be standing through a natural disaster.

But, wow, 8.9 is a pretty powerful earthquake. Was anyone reminded of Tokyo Magnitude 8.0?
Thought of the same thing at the start.
I also just read a manga about the same topic a month ago "51 ways to save a girl" rape and spoon in there were scary. Though I think japan is the safest place to live through a disaster than anywhere else.

The difference is that this earthquake is in the ocean, so it's nowhere near as bad. If it was on land, 95%+ of buildings will probably be gone by now.

Don't know much details, but hopefully it wasn't as catastrophic as it would be elsewhere, since Japan gets earthquakes every so often?
Pretty strong quake otherwise, and the tsunamis probably will have some unexpected effects.

In a quake the best place is under a table/desk or in a door frame. It's to prevent getting hit.
