I'm not on a pc at the moment so I can't go into detail but the same principles apply for 6.20 as they do for 5.00, find the name of the icon and replace it with the name of the icon you want it to read. In 6.20 though, since the topmenu icons were renamed to have two letter titles the whole icon info block changed in vshmain. Basically what you need to do is search for the icon you want to redirect, for example AJ or AK and change it to the name of the icon you want.

I haven't really messed around with the sub icons or on the ability to enable region locked categories though :/ but I'm pretty sure it takes the same steps as it did in 5.xx

So if I wanted my music and photos to be under one icon all I have to do is rename on of the main one's and they'll merge both categories together?

I'VE WANTED TO MERGE CATEGORIES FOR THE LONGEST TIME! Yay

@ ebenezer what exactly is it that you want the main icon to do? For main icons the only thing you can do is redirect them to load another image instead of theirs. Sub icons are the ones you can move around.

@ aspheric unfortunately you can't really do much with the main categories like I said above. Maybe you could add a region lock to a category though, sorta like there is with the extras section and completely remove it. Then all you'd have to do is move the sub for that category to another one.

I haven't really messed with the icons order so I don't know if this is possible, if I get a chance I'll mess around with this.

My purpose is described below.

Default : Settings - Extras - Photo - Music - Video - Game - PSN
Goal : Settings - Photo - Music - Video - Extras - Game - PSN

Did you try searching up move sub icons anywhere?

Nope.
My purpose is reordering of XMB main icon, not sub icon.
Anyway I intended to unlock the region of 1seg, but failed.
08 : Japanese region code, 40 : Korean region code in vshmain.prx

And I succeeded to change the Information board to USB connection.

RE: 6.20 XMB main icon order offset question
If you look at the page data in topmenuplugin.rco you will see a section that has 8 page entries which probably are the main icons so try dumping topmenu_plugin.rco with rcomage and changing the names around. For example AJ to AK or whatever they're titled. Topmenu controls the xmb main icons so you might be able to re-order the main icons like that?>?

nevermind it doesn't work :/
