i want to join translating. 1 thing.

i guess, that you open the v0.29a.ppf file and then translate the text or something, (im a bit noob, but if you get me the text ill translate it.)

i want to know how you get with the texts and then rewrite them.

I patched mine using this method.

1. Open the untouched ISO using the program "UMDGEN".

2. Look for the file named "DATA.BIN". It is located in "PSP_GAME/USRDIR/*"

3. Extract the file named "DATA.BIN" by highlighting it and then click right mouse button and choose "Extract Selected...".

4. Open the program named "ppf-o-matic3.exe".
(Download here.)

5. On the "ISO File", click the diskette icon and choose the extracted "DATA.BIN" from your untouched ISO.

6. On the "Patch", click the diskette icon and choose the English translation patch.
(Latest patch included in the pack above.)

7. Now click apply and then close the program when done.

8. Open again the untouched ISO using the program "WQSG_UMD_R31".
(Download here.)

9. Go to the folder named "USRDIR". It is located in "PSP_GAME/USRDIR/"

10. Drag and drop the patched "DATA.BIN" inside that folder overwriting the old one.
(Don't forget to have another copy of your untouched ISO because this process will overwrite the original "DATA.BIN" file after dragging that file.)

11. Wait for it to finish.
(It will not respond for a while not until the copying is done.)

12. Done. Play the game. :)

4. After the check is done, click "2) Apply Ripkit". Name the patched ISO to whatever you want and then save it. (Just don't choose you're untouched ISO or it will overwrite it.)

If i can't help with translate, maybe i give some sites who can.
Wih this 1 sites there are:
- the whole menu translation.
- armor translation + the skill translation of the armor
- item + monster item translation.
- i think that the weapon are translated (not sure)
- some other, (didnt check)

Hey guys maybe you can help me out. Animex I did the alternate method that you did, it worked I do have translated Items and a few locations such as cat lady n machine shop and a lot of the items, but none of the elder quests are translated. I beleive I read that some were done? Any help would be much appreciated, and great work animex and kenshihh, keep it up!
