I found out like 2 years ago from a screen shot on a thread at Anime Suki with one post comparing TV and DVD shots and someone pointed it out.

Does anyone else think Bardiche sound a little off from what he did in the TV series?

I thought a number of voices sounded slightly off.  Bardiche was a fair bit.
Could be my memory and/or audio encoding on the TV rips.

I believe they do sometimes look for other voice actors to do stuff if they can't get previous ones.

Didn't he used to speak German?

No, I think he (or it T_T) always spoke in English.

Will need to see it again before film comes out methinks :P

I think the 4 new characters' devices spoke some other language in season 2.
