sorry my face is detracting from the ipod's beauty, but meh.
was the clickwheel hard to get off?
pain in the donkey!
it was all glued together and i was freaking out because thought i was going to break it.
then when i put it back together, i got the sad ipod picture and i just about had a heart attack. turned out i put the hard drive in backwards ![Facepalm Facepalm](images/smilies/facepalm.gif) after that the click wheel didnt work at all, so i had to re-take it apart again about 3 times before i got everything working.
the worst part, though, was the screwdriver they gave me was too big for those little screws. so i used my mini screwdriver set, and THOSE were too big as well. so i ended up using the corner of the smallest flathead i had (it was too big to use the whole thing, only a corner) in the end, i only got 3 screws back in...
but it looks good and doesn't seem to be any worse for the wear, so im chalking it up as a win.

*boots up fine
and that adhesive they give you is terrible. the one for the click wheel stuck to my fingers and became a twisted knot so i just cut up the border of the shit that it came on and did a makeshift sticky lol. it looks great now, but what a pain in the donkey.
