Team GEN Magixien Talks About the Custom Firmware 6.20 GEN

So...if i read this right, theyre pissed at Liquid for making Prometheus use thier work, but want to use TN's Hen exploit to make a new CFW??

They (GEN) want to use TNs kernel exploit as the route for installing a new 6.20 GEN CFW.

Yeah, they are pissed at Liquid but I don't see why. Whose work is all of this based on? Exactly - hacking the PSP should be a collaborative effort and I should have thought Magixien should be commenting on the good work Liquid has been doing. Liquid is right in saying what he did - GEN went dead quiet so Liquid carried on. How the result of that could piss anyone off is beyond me.

Team GEN just sucks balls. They can't create a firmware by them selfs and now they make up excuses why they can't make a new firmware. All their firmwares where based on DaX and now DaX left GEN does not know what to do.

It's a long time ago i know but the man who dropped the bomb on $ony and who started the scene all by himself is:
Humma Kavula (& Friends) author of umdemulator and fastloader Adore

He's responsible for the fact that you can now play backups on your psp.
He retired soon after releasing umdemulator 0.8C.
But he was so kind to give Dark Alex the source, who later used it and further developed it as part of his cfw's.
And do not forget Booster author of devhook.
It's a magnificent achievement to crack a closed system.

Which cannot be said about editing source code and hex editing files Puke

And nowadays wee have to be thankful for people like Wololo and friends and Liquidzigong.
Those people don't say much but deliver high quality Yay
