PS3 Custom Themes?
To people following the PS3 scene, I don't have a PS3.
But I was wondering, with the jailbreaks and such, are there any working on customising PS3 flash files?
I'm primarily interested because wee have a lot of experienced PSP theme developers here, and from what I know of the RCO format, there's a fair bit of similarity between the PSP and PS3. As I would expect a number of PSP users to also own a PS3, it would make sense that wee could perhaps leverage the expertise here for PS3 theming.
I don't know if there's really any interest in such a thing, and unfortunately, I can't do much to support it, but if it is being looked into, I'm willing to set up a forum section here, and perhaps try with what I can with RCO modifications.
Thanks.

I see no one looking at it seriously yet, wee need a way to work with the rco's, so far its just been the xml edits like renaming, moving menus around or changing some icons in flash.
I would appreciate if you looked further into it aswell I think many others will too.

anything you've looked into like rco wise?
like I think what would really be useful is a application like RCOedit was, it was very neat, organized and was easy to use program for newcomers.
Only thing else I can think of is someone will need to find a way to edit the sprx files like wee did with prx on PSP.

RE: PS3 Custom Themes?
Does ps3 FTP server give "NAND" access? I'll have to try and see if it allows the firmware files to have access.. Someone said they had custom rco..maybe it was madcow or shady?

RE: PS3 Custom Themes?
Yes it gives you nand access, you can write to devflash2 and 3 not to devflash1 though and that's where they made usbcfw loader like version 0.3 now I think, it's like the CXMB of PSP for Ps3 and allows you to load changes to other files like firmware files.
