it refused to turn on ever since that soooo called my birthday. googled it up it turned out to be a widespread HP laptop problem >_> so i guess i won't be able to fix this, and no way I'm getting a new laptop anytime soon.... so like yeah, yay, wooo, no hershey kisses, less manga, less internet, no photoshop or whatever i do on the comp >_> this is hence the reason it's in my blog lawllolawsfsdv

why i call it tsundere? may be some of you remember, this happened a few times before, but the first time it was 4 hours, 2nd times it was 2 days after that it turned on normally.


actually getting a Desktop doesn't sound all that bad, i have a monitor here for my PS3 already. hmmm budget keyboard and mouse, i can live with that.

Form what I've gathered browsing the intertubes it's a heat problem similar to the xbox360. The GPU is inadequately cooled meaning the solder beads holding and connecting it to the motherboard crack and melt. There have been cases where the GPU has fallen off completely. If it's not that bad it can be baked to reflow the solder. As far as I know models using integrated ngraphics are unaffected.

All they are suggesting is do the free extended warrantee :(
