Java Updates
[img=http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1684/javacd2.png]
See in this ScreenShot, how there are 6 updates for Java.
now seeing as it has begun the Environment 6, and because they are so big, should/can i remove the 5 "Environment 5 Updates"?
because they take up 110-120MB each and that would give me some space.

RE: Java Updates
Uninstall everything, then install Java 6.  Easiest way to be sure.

RE: Java Updates
I'm not sure if the size on each package reflects the actual size of each update. I always thought that they just added onto the current one, so the sizes shown in add/remove were actually a combination of the previous stuff that was in the java directory plus the update. Meaning that the updates are overlapping each other and counting stuff in the same folder.

But zinga is right, to be safe, probably just install the newest one.

well seeing as "Java 6 Update 1" is the newest one, and is a new version, wouldn't it be fine if i just removed the Java 5s?
