Considering how much technology has changed in the last 10 years, this almost feels too conservative an ambition. Still, any advancement is welcome.

Though... the utilization of OLED seems a bit primitive in this form. I wonder how they plan to deal with the high chance of damage due to its positioning? A watch is relatively small, and not very cumbersome. On the other hand (no pun intended), this wrist gadget looks like it would be pretty annoying if left on your wrist all day. I think their test audience would likely find it too cumbersome in this prototype form. It needs to be, in some way, part of your clothing, or some other way, in which the weight and surface area don't affect you negatively.

Regardless, Sony will surely figure out what is the most sensible course of action (hopefully...).

Public relations haven't been good recently and they need to kick out something freakin' awesome.

It does look pretty awesome. However as has already been said, a little bit too big.

Also how would it be powered? I mean, a watch's battery a lot of the time lasts the entire lifetime of the watch. I'm sure that if I had to take my watch off every few days to charge it i'd keep forgetting to put it back on again.

Only thing is that OLED screens short lifespan.

And that is why I think the OLED isn't being utilized to its full potential here at all. There have been examples of it being used on fabric, and rolled, and everything because it does not require a glass medium. In this instance, it feels... underwhelming... but, as I said, any advancement is welcome.
