Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

I've just gotten a new laptop (Well, more of a netbook) and it has windows 7 on it. I've never used windows 7 before and it's pretty much all new to me. Was wondering where to find folder options like 'Hide extensions for known file types' and the sort.

im not sure but wouldnt that be in the control panel under "folder options".

Nah I checked there. On xp it was simple, don't know why they decided to fudge with it

does the control panel have a "classic" view?

if so try clicking that then looking for it

fudge it nevermind, was hidden in 'organize'. Never even thought to look in there
