lol, i know. I just saw graphics card, and entered the thread.  It showed up as "What graphics card should i buy for my..." in the newest threads area. Didn't see the laptop part XD

Still, the massive off-topic bumping will give him more time for answers. So :P

you're probably looking for something like the ASUS XG Station: http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=cjytZpI6lGKd6XX8

The product was a failure at best but it does have SLi so I'm curious about how much power you could add.

Plus, it isn't portable... aaaaaaaaand you can't really buy it.

So really your only options are to get a better lappy or get a desktop that's reasonably upgradeable.

* S7* blows dust off thread.

A new External Graphics Card is going to be unveiled soon. And it's not poo poo. [*gasp!*]

Meet GUS, MSI's External Laptop Graphics

http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/laptops...view-msi/1

"MSI plans to sell the GUS with Radeon HD 5670, among other possible graphics options, for between $169-$229, but you can buy the GUS on its own for just $99-$109. That's really very reasonable when you consider the additional cost of serious graphics in laptops."
