I've read the manga: they both sucks.

Bleach: bad guy one hit K.O. good guy, good guy speak justice words like "I'm not gonna lose" "i fight for my nakama" "this is finally the time to show you my true power" - > One hit KO the bad guy. the end.

Naruto: to be frank, it's not even ninjas fight anymore, what kind of ninja doesn't cover his effing face? what kind of ninja fight head to head? what kind of ninja transform into dinosaur? most of the fight is the same as bleach also. "IMMA SHOW YEH MAH TRUE PAOWAAAHHHH"

like every anime, everything happens, breaking the laws of physics, time and reality.

my point is, just because you hate/dislike/loathe something, doesn't mean everyone should do the same. each of us have our own preference. and for me, it's not right to make fun of these people who likes them.

keep in mind, shonen are specifically made for younger boys.

no dood, that's not the format of shounen manga. shounen manga is about awesome teenagers (or young adults) fight (physically or spiritually) for his goal. usually with some kind of super power. or with a companion who has it.

Ryu uses a mask, and stars, plus all of his moves is actually ninja, izuna drop, wall kick, flying swallow.
Ayane, look at all of her finisher, they are all assassination moves.  unlike cool ninja breathing fire and summoning slugs

I've seen most of shounen jump manga one of the only exception I've seen so far is Dr.Slump, which has a female main character with no dream. but it's a gag manga and she's strong like a main character should, so it's fine.

bad or not, is because of one's perspective, and wee can judge one's self by judging his perspective. to take a spoon or not? that's his part. (eg alot of people here don't like my k-on bashing, i don't give a damn >_> ).

the hell i know what real life ninja moves are, all wee know in reality is that they are hired mercenaries or a covert ops specifically for assassination using unorthodox methods. don't tell me you believe on all those flying moves, walking in the water thingie, and everything that looks cool that they do on movies/video games O.o

the shonen, made for younger boys, that doesn't mean only younger boys are supposed to watch it, they are just the "target audience".

i have no idea that shounen have that specific format. what i know is as long as it is intended for young boys, it's shounen, no matter what the characters are.
