All they've said so far:

Quote:A spokesman from Virgin Media said while it remains committed to responsibly tackling online piracy, "any legislative measures need to work alongside innovative, new commercial solutions if they are to truly tackle the issue and have an impact on consumer behaviour".

and these people run the country???? you got to be fudgeing kidding. yet another reason to leave this chocolatee hole of a country. (and i say country refering off course to britain - not scotland, scotland would be great if it wasn't controlled or accountable to the governments that are running britain into the ground, but lets not get off topic). how can wee seriously expect these morons to run our finances when they don't even know what the terms they use actually mean.

Always remember - Google is your friend :)

You mean England not Britain? Scotland is in Britain.

But yeh I just really don't get how they can pass a law when only 1 3rd of the MPs actually turn up to it.
Also it was rushed from the House of Lords which is where all the companies heads are.

haven't they given these threats before? doubt they can stop piracy completely... if they ban everyone who download there'll be no one left on the internet

Many proposals have been made but this has been passed to be actual law.
