When the screen goes black ... and you turn the psp off the light flashs on my psp too and i just turn it back on and the display comes on, And are you on phat or slim psp and are you using the TEST m33 or normal 5.00 m33-6 >?
I am on psp 2000 5.00m33-6 and i have tested this on the test m33 and normal mode and it has worked for me, And you should try/test and see if any other 6.xx games or demos work,
becasue i haven't yet tested this on UMD's because i don't have a UMD game that uses 6.xx but i did try my psp mini games that use 6.xx and they work great and 6.xx demos.

The only one is Yoshihiro but I guess he only works for GEN and took a break from coding to PSP.
Others need to hexedit or reverse engineer.

RE: 6.xx game support on 5.00 m33-6 {{Tutorial}}
Dude, my 2¢ is that it's better to mess with the ISO (ie. using EBOOT exchange or, better yet EDecrypt 1.3.1) than mess with Flash 0. Especially if you own a 2000 with TA-88v3 or a PSP 3k. You have no idea how sorry people will be if their PSP won't start afterwards...
It's not a good idea to access the Flash(es) at all. Because some programs leave stuff behind when they detect a new drive. For example I know for a fact Diskeeper (at least older versions, I have yet to try the newer) and some antivirus programs — or even certain viruses if the machine is compromised — leave a small file, kinda like a log. Which over time could add up. Viruses could attach to files as well and modify their CRC, etc.
So it's probably a good idea for the average consumer to stay out of Flash 0, especially if they don't know what their doing. And why take the risk when you can probably find the exact same games you own already dumped on the internet ? And for the same region and all... But perhaps that's going a bit too far (last I checked piracy was a no-no).

Oh and I'm not sure if you even need to touch the flash0 because its only the version.txt and i didn't use it and it still worked out.
5.03 MHU is based on 5.00 M33-6.
I overwrote the version.txt file and nothing changed in System Settings - System Information. I expected to see "System Software : Version 9.90" but it did not change anything. And I enabled "Use version.txt" from the recovery menu...
And another thing.
The EUR version of Dead or Alive Paradise worked... except the screen was split in four and the colors were all screwed up (Predator style, lol) and it also froze on the loading screen. The same with EBOOT exchange 2.8 (freezes at the loading screen) except for the split image and messed up colors.

You're right. The game still freezes at the loading screen, though. Just like EBOOT exchange 2.8.
EDecrypt 1.3.1 uses newer keys... Haven't tried it yet.

Then try it with all of your game plugins off except for stargate.prx and see if it works then.....

No. Not with M33 driver, not even with Sony NP9660 + 333 MHz for both XMB and GAME + Speed up MS access enabled/disabled. DoA Paradise is a beach of a game. :) lol
Maybe it needs some hex editing or something (like Soul Calibur). Still haven't tried it with EDecrypt 1.3.1.
