Im a L or M in the UK (usually L, they're baggier)

What size shirt should i get?

i have no idea

sensei thinks ill be fine with a L but im not sure whether to get an XL or not

If you're an average sized 18 year old, i.e. not morbidly obese or freakishly tall, a large size should fit you fine.
