I'm not really interested in hacking the Ps3, besides, only the old fat ps3s are hackable which I don't have one of anymore.

people payed $$ for linux OS to be installed on the PS3,. so sony can't do this,.. right?

Homebrew
PS1 & PS2 emulation (sony should't have deleted this feature for later models)

not so cool:
Pirated PS3 games(who wants to rip blu-ray games anyway)
Hacked trophie system
Bricked PS3 consoles ;p
