Well.. I did it.. and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.. she said she doesn't want her to date.. RIGHT NOW.. because shes only 14 and she gave me the whole I don't want her to get her heartbroken in her first relationship thing and you know I get that.. its her momma.. she doesn't want to let her baby girl go.. and I told her I respect that and Im willing to wait.. and she said.. wee'll as time goes on.. wee'll see.. so it wasn't really a NO.. it was a NOT NOW.. =D so I figure it went great lol Yay

P.S. Im with the mom and dating at 14; i see it as a huge nuisance in high school for many reasons that im too lazy to put down here. But the tl;dr version is that, high school relationships; ESPECIALLY when you're 14, just don't work out 99% of the time.

Think about it this way. Would you let your 14 year old daughter date a guy 2 years older than her ?
I definitively wouldnt. I mean most 16 year old guys are the same and thinking about the things i did at 16, i don't think letting her date would be a good idea.

Im not in it for her body man... and her mom knows that..I would say why but I don't feel like getting religion bashed today and shes going to be 15 in may

well if you're not in for her body then you can easily just stay as friends no?

Her mom is just protecting her daughter and doesn't want her to get pregnant at a young age. I know you say you're not in it for her body, but you're still young and if you two were alone, making out, those hormones are going to start kicking in and soon enough you're going to be in a situation where you don't have any condoms on you, and the next thing you know is your penis is stuck in her vagina without a condom (not trying to be funny). You're at that age where your hormones basically control almost everything you do. Also, if I was a mother (I'm a girl By the way) and had a daughter I wouldn't want her dating someone two years older than her either (in fact, I wouldn't want her dating period.) Even so, if you ever get in that situation where you are alone with her, have some condoms on you, but remember condoms break, and you can possibly get one past the pill. I'm not saying you want to have sex with her, I'm just saying spoon happens when or if you're alone with someone you like.

THIS; hormones are CHEMICAL messengers; they can actually control how you think, no joke, this is what wee call "sex drive" in biology. Friendships are basically all you need at this point in age, trust me, relationships are just an excuse for teens to make out and feel "wanted" by somebody; it's basically a convenient way for teens to not feel as if they are alone when they are going through one of the most troubling stages of their lives.

Also, this will sound nasty; but don't lie to yourself about not being in it for her body, at this point in time, men can't help it, wee're as horny as fudge no matter how much you deny it, it's called puberty.
