I've been hooked up to a tree for way to long. I'm stretching the leach as much as I can and it's choking me. I've been hooked up for so long that I'm foaming at the mouth and the very second I find a way to unhook myself I'm going to run. I'm never coming back to this.

Like I've said before, I live in New Jersey and I really hate it here, so much that I feel that I'm wrong somehow. I know it's not me, but after 10 year you start to question yourself. Never in my life have I seen so many fudgeed up people in one state. Most people here are unfriendly and I mean new class of unfriendly. People use you here and you get nothing in return, people will screw you so hard here if they can get an other dime out of you they will try, hell they will spend 10 dollars trying to do so. I know your thinking people are like that everyplace, but not to this level. I lived in Germany, California and Pennsylvanian, for the most part people are not as inhuman as they are in New Jersey. People only move to NJ to make money, there is a lot of ways to make it here but at the cost of being human?

Here is an example. This happened maybe 3 years ago.

Guy from next door will call him Jo.
Jo: Hey I think I have a virus on my PC could you take a look please?
Me:Sure, why not.
Jo: So, how long till this take?
Me: Not sure, but not too long.
Jo: OK
I start scanning his PC about an hour later I find 100's of virus.
Me: Jo, this is a bad problem you have here.
Jo: It can't be, I only do work on that system.
Me: As I'm deleting the cokies from goatlove.ru, Hmmm. I don't know, but you have them.
Jo: Well can you fix it?
Me: should be able too.
Jo: Well, don't take too long I have work to do.
Me: (Getting a bit pissed) Yeah, OK
Me: OK all done.
Jo: Well great, If I ever need something from you again I'll call you.
Me: OK Your welcome
Jo: OK by
2 days later
Jo at my door: Hey what did you do?
Me: What? nothing why?
Jo: I was printing all day yesterday and now my printer doesn't work.
Me: So, I fixed your virus problem, the system worked for a day, and now your printer doesn't work?
Jo: Yes!!
Me: Well I sure didn't do anything
Jo: Yes you did!! You worked on my PC and now the printer doesn't work, you NEED to fix it now. I'm loosing money because I can't print.
Me about to kill this guy: Well I did nothing to your printer.
Jo: Fine I call someone that knows what they are doing to fix it.
Me shutting the door: Fine you do that.
Jo from the other side of the door walking away: Asshole, tells me he can fix it and then doesn't.

It happens more and more, you do a favor for someone and when it doesn't turn out the way they thought it would, they think you wronged them somehow. They get pissed and demand you do it again. Well I like to help people the only thing I want in return a genuine thanks. Not just thanks because it the thing to say, but a real thanks. Yes, I can tell too.

I know that your thinking now, why don't I move right? Sadly it's for the money. My dad can't drive anymore, so if wee move I can't make enough money to take care of him and myself.

If feel out of place here, I just want to get out of here, but I don't see how...

Dude I know how you feel. That's why I stopped hooking peoples computers ipods and psps because it is a never ending cycle.
Either they are unsatisfied or want more or they fudgeed it up already some how.

I am trying to hang in, and for the most part I do. It's just becoming harder and harder to ignore the massive amount assholes that live here. People don't say "hello" here if I walk past someone and say "hi" they look at me then the ground and pretend they didn't hear me. Peoples eyes are evol here. If you look at any girl here you know what you get in return? The look of "what the fudge are you looking at".... You know what bitch? For a second I thought you here hot, but ever mind now, you just killed that.

Just like I thought, it too hard to put into words.

I knew this one lady for years, she was really nice. One day she asked me to take some pictures of some jewelry she wanted to sell. Like an donkey I said yes, When I come over she was on the phone. She said to the person on the other end "My worker is here I need to go". When I was done she said "Hold on I need to count the jewelry before you go" she did and said "Ok it's all here you can go now"

I've known her for a long time, and after she asked me to help her, I became "the worker that steels"...

I don't live with my dad and most of my life I've spent with my mom and my sister... when I do go to my dad's i spend most of my time with my step sister... well I did anyways... my step brother moved there now so I can play with him :3

Hang on there I guess.  If you're stuck there, I guess it's probably best to try to fit in.  Perhaps try to ask for favors back.
Or are there really any good examples?  I'm sure not everyone is bad.  Perhaps you've just been disturbed by quite a number of bad examples?

Sick_Demented99, the only reason I still help some people is to find out if they are a real person. I don't help people that pulled that poo poo with me before. I know people suck, but I want to believe there are some good people still left in the poo poo hole.

Am I jaded? Sure I am, that's the problem. I live in a place that makes people jaded. I would say that 5% of the people that live here are good people. Of the 5%, 4.9% just moved to NJ or have not lived here long enough to become jaded.
