You can try using the PopsLoader plug-in to load a different version of the emulator. On 3.40 OE-A you can only load 3.10 and 3.11 pops, but it has only one glitch in those versions if I remember correctly, just a missing battle swirl.

or you can try the save ID fix.(edit the save and use the JP save id #)

Hey.. I downloaded FFIX (i own the FFIX PS game) and I place the whole thing (which consist of the eboot file and the document file) in my PSP/game/FFIX folder. The game starts up until it reaches the movie. After the garnet-in-boat movie, it shifts to the garnet sitting by a window. And that part, it hangs. Did i do anything wrong? Like place the files in the wrong folder or something? I'm using 3.10OE-A version. I downloaded the patch for FMV at megagames.com and i placed it in the same FFIX folder. But it still doesn't work. Can anyone help me please? ^-^"

There's two possibilities:
1) You're using official firmware rather than OE firmware
2) You're using an older OE firmware and/or converted the game for and older OE firmware which requires the KEYS.BIN file

If the 1st, see if you can downgrade, if the 2nd, try upgrading to a newer OE firmware and/or reconvert the game.
