Not true, because the dude can then use the money to pay someone else, and so on (as long as your forgery is passable as the real thing. If it's obviously fake, then you'll never be able to use it in the 1st place).

Does it matter that it's an illusion? Illusion, no illusion, whatever, it gets him the same amount of benefits, and that's all that matters.

You can however argue, that in the very very end of the cycle, someone will figure that the money is fake and that person will be the victim.... It'll probably be the police, which belongs to the government... and absolutely noone cares about the government right? (Wee're just getting back the part that the government ripped off as in the first place). Or maybe the banks... and noone cares about them either right? (They're the ones who caused the financial crises).

you can put it that way. it's like a magic trick. it's not miraculous, magical or anything, but people get the same amazement. once you realized how the trick is done, you show it to someone else, and so the cycle goes on.

and if you put it that way, it will make the value of that country's currency go down incredibly fast. and make the whole country basically bankrupt in a month or two if they don't put it under control.
and that's why they ban fake money. not because of you tricking other people. but because of you are ruining the economy.

Lol, are you actually taking all that stuff seriously? Dude, it's just a joke reply to whatever Zinga said.

And in srsbsns mode... No, they don't ban forgery because it induces inflation and reduces the value of the currency, that impact is so small it's pretty much negligible at best. They ban fake money because it's an illegal way for you to gain an unfair financial advantage at the cost of others (everyone else in the market) - same reason as why they ban stuff like insider trading. While in reality these two may be the same thing, fundamentally, they are different.

Like I said previous (you may have missed it because it was edited in later), even though that may be an outcome of forgery (and even that's arguable, since unless the scale of your forgery is MASSIVE, it won't be big enough to really impact the economy), that is not the reason why it is illegal.

Example... a result of having terrorist attacks in your countries will be the downgrading of your security ratings and loss of income in the tourism sector. But that's obviously not the reason why terrorist attacks are illegal.

Calm down Heartless this is common sense.

There won't be a massive incline in the market economy due to massive production of forgeries.

Also for the mass production of forgeries, it's probably not a big deal, if you want to buy a house, you can't pay off the mortgages just like that you'll obviously

need to insert it into a bank, be in work, and have all these kinds of prerequisites in order to buy big things that could effect the economy, obviously a bank could

detect whether you have forgeries or not, they handle money so they must know amirite? Buying a bag o' chips with a counterfeit bill wouldn't impact the

economy much just a fraction of money lost from the company since it takes liek what? 5 cents to make a bag of chips?
