Very interesting read. I'd always wondered how Squall managed to survive the end of disk 1, perhaps he didnt....and that faceless shot from the ending is just bizarre

Yeah... FF8's story lost me back when I played it for the first time, but no more than Chrono Trigger's did.

I don't like dream theories. It's far too easy to classify anything as a dream really. Just get a random story and claim it was all a dream. And it's done a fair bit too.
