Hmm I'm not to hip on the statory rape charges, but iheard anything under 15 will get you a whole lot of jailtime. More then 3 years for sure.

And rapist never have a good time in jail, because they are the ones who end up get raped.

Something smells fishy.

How old was he? If he was like around 15, then that's fine, but if around 20, he really should've known better.

The problem is that it is assumed that someone much older can easily manipulate a minor, so it can be difficult to determine whether it was consensual or not. The general assumption is that the older person does have a fair bit of influential power over the minor and thus an action like this was most likely initiated by the older one (who should've known not to do it).
