oh and if you get a chance do visit auschwitz..... it's probably the saddest (emotional wise) place you'll ever visit.....  I'm not the sort of person who's easily phased but it was nearly too much for me.....

Hey John or whoever has been there - what shoes should I bring??
I have my DCs which I've been wearing in the London ice and they were fine, but I have some walking boots and my dad says to take them. Do you think I should??? Or would it be unnecesary baggage?
