Some weird chocolate going on here...
I just got back from work 10 minutes ago. I got the the house and the door was locked. OK, I had keys in my pocket so I unlock the door and go in. All the lights are out except for the one in the porch. The house is completely silent. I go into the living room and the dog is lying on the sofa asleep. She wakes up when she hears me and wags her tail but stays on the sofa.
I go into the kitchen and there's food left on the counter for me. It's still warm. I'm not hungry so I leave it there for now.
I walk into the study and see that the router is on and the activity lights are flashing. Strange as I thought I turned it off when I left. I go upstairs into my room and notice that things have been moved. I have a giant torch that I use as a door stop that was beside the door but it had been moved in front of the cupboard. A pair of shoes in the middle of the floor. Little things that only I'd notice.
I go over to the desk. The charging light on my laptop is lit up, suggesting it had been unplugged or there had been a power cut. I look at the alarm clock and it's showing the right time and not flashing so that rules out a power cut. I can hear the server running. I definatley turned it off before leaving. I bring the laptop out of standby and check the event log (because I'm paranoid). It was brought out of stanby while I was at work at 5:12 PM. It stayed running until 5:37 PM when it was put back into standby.
I phone my parents to ask where they are but their phones are either off or out of coverage. I try my borther's mobile but he's left it in the kitchen. My dad's car is in the garage but my mum's car is nowhere to be seen. My mum's car keys however are in the kitchen.
I'm scared...

Well I am beginning to think that someone might be spying on me/following me. When I got to work the boss pulls me over and tells me that I'd left the side door open overnight. I'm the only one who ever needs to use the side door. It doesn't go into the shop, only upstairs where all the old spoon that's never used is kept. I'd gone up the night before to get some grit salt to clear ice outside the shop. I know for a fact that I'd closed it and closed and locked the metal shutter over it after finishing. I went over to find that the keys were left in the door as well...
