look all of you be quiet. if any of you had a clue you would know 5.00 to 5.50 will work for cfw and he just isn't putting the right setup on the card. maby also he hasn't checked motherboard or battery to make sure they can be made pandora. either way this goes back to a be quiet if you have nothing helpful to add. hmm defdock pm me i can send you the files for a 5. firmware pandora proper setup

don't use flash 0 themes use ctf and pandora and cxmb do so work on gen. you need to start with dark alex's 5.00 m33 and then go to gen b d then d2. and make sure that the cxmb prx is in the seplugins folder. :P also you need to add the command to the vshmenu.txt for cxmb

I've used flash0 themes chocolateloads of times back in the day, just make a back up of it and then just copypasta your themes... >.>

tried that all last week. if i put an edited paf in my flash0, my psp bricks instantly. even if i switch it back to the original paf, still brick.

im just going to have to keep this psp plain. hopefully no other problems arrise...

uhm don't even attempt to do too much of the editing without a pandora.......... that's how psp's get bricked.... lol what kind of psp/motherboard version do you have??

oh also don't do anything to the nand of your psp..... just don't.

im not psp illiterate. im sure i done everything right. and used the right apps

yes, i went from 5.00 m33 to gen b then to d and d2 and then d3.
yes, i put cxmb in the seplugings and added the vsh line of code.
yes i tried cxmb in ms0://cxmb/ folder.
yes M33 pandora works, no xgen pandora don't, it never loads up ever.
i havent used a single flash0 theme since i updated to 5.50 gen. none work, psp bricks
motherboard is a ta 79, all my batteries are able to be pandora, i done it befor.

its simple, this SINGLE psp is problematic.

i did do exactly what u told me.cxmb will not work on gen on this psp at all

if any of the nand files have been edited you are screwed. and you need the pandora 3.xx setup on your card. also any card that isn't used for pandora has to have time machine.ipl on it unless your battery is in normal mode. never said you were psp illiterate. but some people post files that arent the origional sometimes and it causes issues. its kind of a point a to b process that has to be done exactly i have a program that just goes 5. m33 gen d gen d2 it auto installs gen b. ive never had an issue and i use the cxmb plugin all the time. also d3 isn't a final yet no matter that gen says its just a beta. all of but like 3 games are patched for gen d2 anyways. don't use d3 yet

i can flash any other psp fine to cfw. i do it alot at school actualy. so i don't think its the software im using, i realy think its a faulty mobo. i never touched the nand. i don't even know what it is. like i kno what it is, but i don't KNOW what it is

flashing cfw to my psp is fine tooo, but its just some things i can't do that other psp can. like cxmb. its realy weird and stupid

Well CXMB kinda saves you from bricking your PSP many times...
