my harddrive is making a clicking noise, as it ben going for a few weeks now. and it was brought up to my attention, i need a new one.

what's is a good suggestion on witch to get? i need something with more space then 100gb. but i need one cheap.

and i want to start getting into programing. and what not, but i don't know how much space i should need necessarily .

well, if you want more than 100gb, but cheap, that's pretty easy.

it depends on which kind of computer your buying for
most 1tb 3.5" sata drives sell for about $100-150, and you can get 320-500gb drives pretty cheap.

if your buying for a laptop, however, you will have to check what size drive your computer uses, and it may be more expensive...

its a desktop computer. its a hp compaq.i need something that's in the range of 150$ though.

damn then you can get around 1.5-2tb. lol, what country do you live in?

here in the US, i can go to the store and buy a 1tb 3.5 sata II drive for around $89...
a 1.5 will usually run you about $120-150, but you may be able to get a 2tb for $150 if you really look...

i thought you needed a new hdd for the inside of your computer...

lol, im sure it will last fine, so long as you don't throw it at stuff

yeah i need a new internal one. but an external is better cause i can take it with me places.
