2. Why can not I change the name on the 5.50 "Settings» System Setup» Nickname» Freezzz"

You probably used osk_plugin_500.rco from firmware 5.00?
At 5.50 it changed

At 5.50 it changed

i made the 5.50 version first...then i got a psp3000 so i needed ot make this for 5.00.

* SchmilK changed name and had no problems :-/  maybe a plugin conflict??

Check. Was included only one plugin screenshot.prx. I disabled it, but still the problem persists.

PSP-1000 Phat 5.50 GEN-D2 - FREEZzzz

Removed from the theme only one file osk_plugin_500.rco
Now everything works. The problem clearly in this file.

I use CXMB for 3.71-5.50 by Total_Noob http://www.qj.net/psp/homebrew-applicati...1-550.html

In general, replaced osk_plugin_500.rco to the original - also freez. Problem solved by deleting the file from the theme.
And what a font is the font folder SHADOW.PGF?

osk should be deflated, cannt be inflated

i have not tried that version of cxmb..i use the one only for 5.50 :-/  

osk is compressed from resurskilnlskenslkientkneski, so im not sure why it keeps crashing :(

shadow.pgf was made by font hacker..probably not used by psp, but i added it anyways.
