okay can someone do this for me?  Just make an xml where there is just a bg that has no amation, one frame, and does nothing

Windows Vista/7 is basically permissions hell by default, if that's what you're using.
Disabling UAC helps, but try to save in places which aren't locked (eg inside your Documents folder etc)

What do you mean does nothing. This file literally does nothing, it only displays the battery, some X and O confirmation buttons and busy icon. Can you be a bit more specific?

Well what kind of animation do you want? You need to supply the icons and specific area you want the animations. If you want things to hang around in the background (i think, not too sure) just keep in mind that you can't have a wallpaper applied. Only inbuilt wallpapers like V1a theme. The applied wallpapers will overlap the animations. If you give me the files you want the specifics I can try and whip something up so you can test out.

okay here's my concept

I want those objects in the back to be one piece to just hang in the back.
I compiled the stuff
Edit: use schilk system plugin fg as an example it called "bg1" can you somehow import that to my sytem plugin_fg? thanks
