around 60Kb/s which isn't bad, but virgin have unthrotled me for a while and i can get up to 1mb/s

yea. sounds pathetic. i plan on using this maybe for finding songs i can't normally find and school work. backup plan to flash drives.

the media player alone is enough to make me happy. lets me expose myself to new artists.

But your upload speeds will be slow anyway.

This is really nothing new - you could set up a *proper* webserver (Apache, lighttpd etc) without too much difficulty, but Opera Unite is interesting in that it's designed for the average user.

I used to use HFS. Pretty nice program.
