Considering Returning To M33...
Well, I'm still considering it -   But I may end up downgrading back to 5.00 M33-6..

My reasons are:

1) at this point GEN has been blocked from PSN and online play, as well as PS3 remote play.  That was one of my main reasons for updating to GEN in the first place.

2)  No MS Speedup option.  A lot of games have some serious lagging issues without this feature.  like Outrun Coast 2 Coast.  At cso compression level 9, it lags so bad it is nearly unplayable on GEN for me.   On M33 it plays 95% lag free with MS Speedup enabled.

3) LEDA - it is a little annoying to downgrade to M33 every time I need to use AT3 Decoder, or Ressulinski.   (And I don't feel like doing the time machine thing, for brew I could launch directly from m33)

Also, the newer games can now be played on M33.

Still pondering it...    What are you guys thinking?

I haven't left M33 yet.

Ultra-shame I might have to upgrade to play the up firmware games though.

you have very good reasons to go back though,.

I'm not sticking to any CFW as of now. GEN or M33 have different use and purpose so i always flash back and fourth depends on what i need.

RE: Considering Returning To M33...
I had 1 cso lagging so I tuned on cwcheat and boosted the speed with that.

as for everything else I use the pc playstationstore, and know nothing of "LEDA" (noob here).

I'm sticking with gen.

RE: Considering Returning To M33...
Well, not ALL 5.55-6.xx games can be played in M33. The MS speedup feature is probably the biggest advantage M33 had over GEN. That difference is speed is actually noticeable. Each firmware has their advantages, but it really comes down to which advantages you want more. If only dual-booting was possible...

LOL.   Now I'm thinking I may stick to GEN.
Screw it, both m33 and gen are blocked from PSN - so wee are not going to win there..

Also, I just flashed fatms MOD for 5.00 to 5.50 GEN-D2, and I must say the speed up was very good    Madwin          No more lagging now    :D

As far as 1.50 brew, I guess I'll use E-Loader for that rare usage   :)

All my games are compressed with level 9. And they work extremely awesomely.

Anyway, is there any tutorial to flash the fatmsmod on GEN-D2?
