It does seem to be a little unstable and buggy. It goes down once every few days.

ANyways, Basically you earn points by doing various different things like answering questions, inviting others or even just showing up. To be honest it is a bit spoon that all the actual physical gifts are out of stock. They have said they'll be restocking some time this month but It'll all be out of stock again within a few hours.

You can have an invite if you want. It all depends on how bored you are...
