Considering how buying games on a GO works, I guess retailers don't really care if it gets hacked or not.

But the difference is now, because of the medium of the games (digital) theres absolutely no possibility of a legitimate purchase if Sony keep forcing firmwares for PSN.

What the hell else do you get from the game anyway? No manuals or booklets anymore...

Perhaps, don't know how much of a profit retailers get from selling consoles but I'm sure the get more of their profit from selling games which they can't do because Sony's selling them all on PSN.
