Same. When I first started vectoring I didn't know what the +pen tool meant and I could only draw boxes Erk

I did it all with the pen tool in Illustrator ^^
Took me a while to find how to do curved anchors on the lines, damn subselection tool.
Doing the character with the guitar in it was fun xD
