unless you got some really good proof,. i ams ticking with endpoint,.

I still say ESET Smart Security. I didn't hear about it until I started using a custom made Vista. Now it's the only one I'll ever use. The firewall alerts anytime anything tries to make an outgoing or incoming connection, the anti is amazing, and the anti sPa/\/\ integrates with FireFox quite well.

RE: Least Bloated Antivirus Program?
I also want a new light AV.
I don't really want kaspersky or NOD32 anymore.

PSPkiller Wrote:Comodo Internet Security is currently using 7.2 MB of RAM on my laptop. It's installed on all the computers at home with me. It sits there, does it's job. It isn;t amazing but it does the trick. It can be a little annoying sometimes when installing programs or updates but flicking it into installation mode shuts it up nicely. The interface isn't the best but it works. It covers all the basic security requirements of the average home user including anti-virus, anti-spyware and a pretty good firewall. My only real problem with it is that the automatic virus scan it does once a week can't be minimized. It has to be dragged to the bottom or side of the screen out of the way.

Oh, by the way did I mention that it was free?

Installed that this morning and it is light and all but I am so fudgeing frustrated with the lack of game support. Just started a game now and wondered why it was not logging me on to my account, and when I try and exit the game I just get a black screen, after this happened a second time I realized it was the firewall.
I had to make an exception for it but I really don't want to do this for EVERY GAME I want to use, can anyone recommend me another AV?

Also panda cloud is still too deep in development and doesn't perform that well atm.

EDIT: i also found comodo was doing the same thing if a tablet mode and could't take it so I am going back to bitdefender or trying panda
scratch that, Bitdefenders firewall won't work on windows 7 and the panda I have won't install on windows 7.
Anyone got a good AV I can use or will I have to go back to NOD32?

RE: Least Bloated Antivirus Program?
Ok, so today I really wanted to get an anti-virus and firewall set up so I went searching for something WINDOWS 7 COMPATIBLE.

In the mean time I installed Avira antiVir personal (the free one) and because I don't think that has a firewall I installed PC Tools firewall plus (also free)

Someone tell me if what I installed just plain sucks and/or is really bloated and/or is not reliable
