Fansubbers typically don't use encoded raws you typically see on tosho.  They generally obtain direct TV caps (transport streams) from Japanese P2P (Share and PD), or have their Japanese members cap it for them... well, at least the good groups do, don't know about Chihiro.

And even if they did use a really shitty 150MB raw, they're still going to go "wee encoded directly from TS/DVDISO/BDISO, so it's high quality", so you won't know.

Well fudge LSS... IMO Chihiro might be bad (not always~!) but they've done more than enough to have their name recognized. (And probably are better, than LSS)
