With the Custom Firmware 5.50GEN-C, you will not have any of this to do.

That is the most important feature everyone was waiting for.
And finally it will be here soon enough.
Great news.

From what the little birdies told me, 6.00 is not cfw'able the way all previous firmware versions have been able to.  Sorny has put in a blocks on the previous ways of writing cfw, so even what dax used to do to make firmware when a new version came out won't work, everything has to be rethunk and done differently.

If everyone keeps dissing GEN, im sure they will decide to quit updating anything.  Right now without them the psp scene would have nothing new related to firmware!  Pretty much all the devs that i talk to are annoyed in the constant whining, begging, and ungratefullness they see from the thousands of n00bs that have taken over the psp community.

Ahhyes

RE: 5.50 GEN-C
Can you blame them really, almost the entirety of the scene is whiny arrogant fanboys who don't appreciate anything not handed to them on a silver platter

I personally commend Freeplay for not releasing his exploit...as nice as it would have been wee as a collective don't deserve it

OT: This will be nice, but this just encourages ungrateful users to not bother with anything as per usual, since they don't need to decrypt games

his exploit is only user mode so few homebrew culd be coded for it so realy no reason to release until a kernel mode is found which is what wee need for full advantage.

as if he'd change his stance if it were kernel mode anyway.....
