Ok. I just checked the site, and it provided an IPS patch.

For those of u not familiar to IPS patches, it's a patch u can apply to the original rom edit the rom into the hacked form.

Since only a small amount of data has actually been changed, instead of distributing the whole rom, which is big, it is far more efficient to just distribute a file that only contains what is changed, and have the user patch this file onto his/her own rom. And that's what the IPS patch is. It also serves as a legal method of distribution, as it is illegal to distribute the actual rom.

So in order to use this patch, u need to go and find the correct rom, and then get an IPS patcher. Run the ips patcher and use the IPS on the rom.

There is no original "Super Mario Forever". This is a hack.

Just find the original Super Mario rom, the correct version. (don't know which version it is. I can look thru my huge rom collection and apply it to every super mario rom in it, until i get it right, but i couldn't be stuffed.)

Anyone who knows which verion of mario to apply this patch like to share this knowledge?
