Why should the newest versions of psp not be able to play the newest versions of games?  Well have no fear, Revenge to the rescue!!

*upon some investigation it seems the decrypted eboots have a small magic bit that sets the minimum firmware version 
located at at 0x000001D0 in GranTurismo
so the program changes it from 05 to 00.*
Post your results...My buddy is coming over with his psp3000 and gran turismo and gi joe to play tomorrow..he was pretty bummed when i told him not to run the update and that he couldn't play it without loosing his snes emulator.

The patcher doesn't work on Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 yet but it can be fixed manually to run on all firmware like the rest by:
Decrypting EBOOT.BIN by usual means (Yoshihiro's Decrypter or PRXDecrypter 2.3)
Open EBOOT.BIN in a hex editor and change the value like so:

the is now a v3 of the 5.55 game Decrypter

Download v3

it can do the same thing as this PC app
PSP 1.5 got on USA first day is was 1.5 till  Xmas 2006 now 4.01 M33 » 5.00 M33-6(with the 1.50 addon)
It a good idea to have "Hide extensions  for known file types" in Folder Options(under Tool) unchecked (turn on extensions)

last night i tried it on my friends pc and i manage to run Gran Turismo on my psp3000!
