okay, so I have the original 60GB PS3 model and I was just about to play the Uncharted 2 demo when my PS3 turned off.. I thought it was a little weird but shrugged it off, so I turn it back on and start the game again after a few minutes it does it again only now it doesn't even turn back on :(

when I try to turn it on it makes the beep noise then the light turns green and then yellow for a split second. After that it shows the red light just flashing and the ps3 won't turn on.

yeah, I know..
really pissed now.. would happen now when all the games I want are getting released :(
gonna go the the game stor near me tomorrow and see how much they charge to fix PS3's

nope that expired a while back..

no you can fix that, first take out the HD & format it .. then take the PS3 apart & clean the fan.. then get a EX drive & in the root of it add a folder called PS3/UPDATE .. then add the FW you are on in that folder..

then put your ps3 back together, plug in the EX drive & start that bitch up. if there is an error in your PS3 it will auto run the update & fix the error,

now under your fan there is a thermastrate, it is covered with dust & spoon. that's why your ps3 won't boot. it thinks your ps3 is hotter then it really is =)
