I found Halo (Halo 1 I'm talking about, never played 2 & 3) multiplayer to be really gay, weapons are not balanced, and you move slow as hell (so snipers rape you. In closed maze maps, shotgun rapes you). But then I've only played Halo for a VERY short period of time, so maybe I just haven't gotten the hang, or discovered the good things yet.

And in single player missions, the rooms are repetitive as hell. There are 2 missions which are pretty much... grinding your donkey through 30 of the same rooms and corridors with slightly different enemies... not particularly fun.

Meh, lets just say I didn't particularly like Halo much, and think it's one of the most overrated shit ever. Stuff like HL2 are much superior imo.

its not your imagination, its just being better in your positions when playing as a team.

Sniping is rather simple, and you'll get plenty of frags like said. But if you know the maps well enough, you can snipe the snipers with simple weaponry.

I consider Halo to be "Arcade" wheras CounterStrike is the more serious alternative, just as fun though.
