Drive Sharing
Hey guys, I'm tryna share my E drive(on my Vista) to my computer upstairs (which is xp). I have them on the same workgroup and when I'm upstairs the computer sees the network "WORKGROUP" and my pc "Admin-pc" but it can't get to my E drive i tried doing \\WORKGROUP\Admin-pc\e but it can't find it. Can anyone help?

RE: Drive Sharing
also look at your firewall..by default sharing is not allowed :(

if you want the admin share of unlessdour e drive you do \\Admin-pc\e$  the \\workgroup is not needed
but like above, right click the drive and choose sharing

RE: Drive Sharing
go into \\*networkname\*username*

The drive should appear in the list of shared folders, and then right click it and map it as a network drive to make easy access
