I'm pretty sure that the new owner of my PSP must have made a similar thread somewhere and that forum's member must have cursed and abused me,................

SchmilK Wrote:chickhen and hellcats recovery flasher can make pandora batteries :D  it SEEMS like it would install custom firmware but i didnt try that becaue i didnt have the 5.00 eboot on memorystick.  But the memorystick you can make using windows programs like ultimate pandora kit or something.

lucky you!!  fun times ahead :D

Yeah, I'll look into that. Thanks.

Yeah, I agree, lol. As if you would toss your PSP just because the back was a little cracked.

And he obviously didn't know about homebrew and custom firmware. Otherwise he wouldn't have bought a PSP3000 (note, this was way before chickHEN).

Sparker Wrote:What would you do with a PSP Assassinator?
Play games? Like what games?

... PSP games?

Actually, I'll probably end up playing more emulator and watching videos on it way more than actually playing PSP games.

joshman99 Wrote:Ur damn lucky dude!

I have 1 question:

How the hell did you manage to balance your PSP on the chair?

Balanced on the wooden bit that was sort of sticking out.

He probably wouldn't be waiting for this if that was the case.

Running the recovery flasher won't actually do anything unless you confirm options in the menu.  I'd imagine the risk of something going wrong when writing to the battery is low, but then IDK.  Installing DCv8 shouldn't be an issue.

Ok. I used DCv8 and cory's battery tool, made the memstick and battery, and is now on 5.00 m33-4. Madwin

Thanks for the advice.

Hellcats would've also worked though. -» http://forums.exophase.com/showthread.php?t=10816

Now that I have a Pandora, and before I unpandorize it, I think I might want to try installing some custom themes.

RE: [Blog] So I found a PSP
Install Time Machine, then DCv8 and you can make it so that you need to press a button to see the Pandora menu.
Still, the Pandora battery has some strange characteristics, but they aren't major (ie, PSP automatically starts up when you put battery in; you need the memstick to wake PSP up or turn it on).
