RE: ChickHEN Homebrew Enabler (Latest version: R2)
lulz, anyway tested adhoc file transfer with a CFW and a HEN psp, and it works

lol for some that do have problems when installing HEN, ive done it in only 1 time after several test, ive just put the tiff file in the PSP/PHOTO folder together with the h.bin in the root, then open the tiff file in xmb, then after shutdown, ive open the psp again then open the PHOTO icon then when the tiff's thumbnail opening, it flicks and the screen got some weird brown lines, then restarted, then after restarting check it again and now my psp is in HEN mode

and ive always repeating it over and over and i still can do HEN mode in one shot, lol

Spoiler for don't look, might destruct your mind:

He probably wouldn't be waiting for this if that was the case.

Running the recovery flasher won't actually do anything unless you confirm options in the menu.  I'd imagine the risk of something going wrong when writing to the battery is low, but then IDK.  Installing DCv8 shouldn't be an issue.
