Thanks man, but extracting the .tga is only half the problem.
The wave you uploaded is similar, but the custom wave model has been messed up...
I can upload screenshots to show you...

if used custom wallpaper in theme, your theme will be freeze during booting then shut off~

ya that's the key is to use the newer version of the rco from firmware 500.all my app does is uses rcotool to extract the mdl_00 and inject it into the newer rco.
Id be lost without that tool man.i use in just about every day one way or another.

im not sure as i didnt keep it.i extracted it from the ctf and seen if i could make it work on my psp with out freezing.the wave tool uses rco tool so you would get the same results as i would.you have been in this game longer then i my friend.
to get the model
rcotool -d system_plugin_bg.rco mdl_bg
to inject
rcotool -r system_plugin_bg.rco mdl_bg
make matching opening
rcotool -d system_plugin_bg.rco mdl_bg
rename mdl_bg.gmo mdl_00.gmo
rcotool -r opening_plugin.rco mdl_00

yeah i like rcotool as well but havent used it since the old days of making the rcoupdate batch files...but using rcoedit 1.14 and 1.15 and hex edit the wave would never display after injecting the z33 model. :( i even tried wave system 1 and 2 wiht no luck, only the waves do nuts model worked which was 26kb where as the ps3 style models were in the 140kb range :( I'll try again using rcotool. ;)

my rcotool conversion gets a 43Kb, no double wave on classic mode.
