bboy_sonik Wrote:wOOOt! I will poast my PCMark05 score later today when I finish work, but do I have to do a 3DMark? I have a crappy Radeon HD 3200.... 1900 3dmarks or something lol. Meh.
EDIT: Pffft that sucks. PCMark05 v1.2.0, with the Feb 2008 hotfix, simply states "Sorry, one or more tests failed. Submit score online for more details and possible solutions". But because I only have the basic version or something, it doesn't provide any more details at all. No idea what's wrong, most definately a Server 2008 issue. Possibly Windows Media Encoder 9 which I had to install manually. Oh well.
Install the 32bit windows media encoder if you installed the 64bit one.

RE: [Updated] EP Computer Benchmarking Powerboard
Heh, I decided to do 3DMark06 just to see how hard I would fail...
Pretty hard... lol @ the gaphics scores. I got an average of like 3fps on Proxycon...
Integrated for the win?

Hey, my current integrated actually isn't that bad. I can pull 20+fps in GW @1440x1024, highest settings.
You should see my old integrated on my old computer (which I was using only 2 months ago). That was like 5-10fps in GW @ 800x600, low settings. It only supports pixel shader 1.1 .

RE: [Updated] EP Computer Benchmarking Powerboard
Haven't been here awhile... Today finished building a new budget build with e5200, p5q pro, 4gb 800mhz ddr2 and hd4830. Just run 3dmark and scored 9804 :) this build costed just around 300€ so I'm quite pleased with it, yet to overclock it though.
Should probably run pcmark05 later...
And the link to the validation

Nice choices :)
E5200 is a superior CPU for overclocking (even when not overclocking, is an excellent price to value CPU). "My $70 CPU > Your $250 CPU"
My current sustem is more or less a budget build. Cost me about $477AUD (=~ 242€), bought about 3 months ago. Add another $150 or so if I bother getting a GPU (I hardly ever play games, mainly an encode box, I don't need a good GPU).

Yeah I bought the E5200 for its overclocking capabilities and put some money to the mainboard so I could really get all out of it. I still only have the boxed cooler so no 4 geez yet ;) also the graphics card can be overclocked quite nicely.
